I can honestly say I don’t think I have ever used jet once. Unless a quest made me or something I don’t think I ever used the stuff.
I’ve been replaying new vegas and I dont really see the appeal of jet, +15 AP seems like not a lot
Jet never seemed worth it until FO4.
The did some cool things with 4. Some real fucking stupid things but some cool things too.
Yeah, story, characters, and weapons were dumbed way down in 4, and let’s not forget the endlessly repeatable quests.
shivers in “Another Settlement Needs Our Help”But the gameplay was def cranked up several notches (drugs actually doing something useful, the ability to sprint, a dedicated grenade button + slot, properly executed power armor, etc)
I like to think that I’m a do gooder in general, I usually will always respond to help a timed side quest. FO4 made me question whether or not I was a caring and compassionate person because I did not give a fuck about those settlements after about four calls to help.
Every settlement I would help the first time, set up some turrets, then it was up to them to deal after.
I think what did it was the house with a little farm constantly getting attacked. Three times before I could even get to the next step in a real quest signalled your doom.
KRRRSSHHH
YYYEEEEAAAUUUUGGHH
I’ve tried so many times to like FO3, especially as a DC native, since I love FNV and FO4, but FO3 is just a bad game. Even with the mod that combined FO3 and FNV into one experience, FO3 just brings the whole thing down.
I was thinking earlier today what Legate Lanius would have thought seeing the Courier use every single chem in his inventory before talking to him.
