I went through a phase years ago where I was obsessed with copying Mignola. I’m over it, but some of the influence lingers.

Among other things. Though I only saw it as an adult, so I think I was influenced by similar things or influenced by works influenced by Wizards.
I was going to say, this aesthetic is Bakshi in the best way possible. I can see the Mignola too, but that’s just in the colours and shadows.
