Mine will begrudgingly pee in the rain but she’d never speak to me again if I tried to put plastic bags on her like that lol
Mine loves chaotically jumping in rivers, creeks, and lakes but hates the rain.
I’m wondering if getting the dog a raincoat wouldn’t be more practical.
Our dogs have every right to be as neurotic as we are. Very few of them take full advantage of that. :-)
We adopted a French Bulldog and she does not like precipitation of any sort. She’ll look outside, snort and turn around.
Just get her a doggy raincoat.

My little dog hates the rain. Sometimes he asks to go out when it’s raining and I’ll just open the door, he’ll take one look outside and go tuck into bed.
I sit anxiously awaiting for a break in the rain before my dog poops in the house because it’s just not going to happen outside if it’s raining even a little.
Yesterday, my dog woke me up at 6am absolutely DESPERATE to go outside. When I let him out, he just laid down in the grass. It was sunny and what most people would consider beautiful out.
I made him come back in so I could go back to bed and he promptly pooped in the living room.
Mine wouldn’t pee last night due to rain, cried this morning so I took him out early where he proceeded to briefly lift his leg on three trees and then get distracted each time without peeing at all. Then he ran to door wanting to go back in.
I still like him better than most people, but man!
Him getting distracted before completing the task is pretty hilarious.
My pup poops twice a day but will hold it for days if the weather isn’t too her liking
I once had to hold down a person withdrawing from meth so security could put them in restraints. I also won’t walk in the rain without a jacket.
Hates rain but hates coyotes even more.
I had a dog that would only go in the rain if I watched him from the door.
