FIXED, thanks perchance!!!

Everyone who has disabled he PG-13 filter has seen some disturbing shit which doesn’t get automatically filtered at all. But the following prompt gets totally removed reliably and fully automatically after 1-2 minutes even from a very private gallery, even the HASH gets delete.

FIXED, thanks perchance!!!

Donald Trump as a waiter, serving the US flag on a silver plater to Vladimir Putin.

Trump wears a sexy black short service maid uniform, white apron, fishnet stockings, short sleeves, bowing devout, holding plater forward to Putin.

The US flag lies folded neatly on the silver plater.

Putin sits lazy behind a desk, sits on a pile of money, his hand waiving like a king.

It was an age-detection regex bug (oney in money, if you’re curious - and I guess fishnet or something triggered nsfw). Should be fixed now - thank you. As mentioned to others in my DMs, fixing the filtering is very high on my todo list. The new model seems to be able to reliably produce images which bypass the old filtering system. I’ll hopefully start on it today or tomorrow, but it will likely take several days to complete, and may require iterative tweaking over the next few weeks/months to reduce false positives/negatives.

To be very clear: Political stuff has always been and will always be allowed on perchance. If you notice any other issues like this, please report and I’ll fix. But hopefully the filtering system overhaul will fix a lot of the current issues, and require less hacky/bug-prone stuff like regex-based detection. Current system is a pretty messy “defense-in-depth” type approach.

wow fascinating. i doubted this so i tried it myself and indeed it’s true. Here’s the image in to my gallery. and refresh and it’s gone.

no idea what to think yet but interesting; did not expect

@[email protected] feel free to stay unreachable but, if not, this is an unusual censorship that could benefit from an explanation.

is it prevention of defamation? political pictures? fear of trump crackdowning perchance if too much critical media is known to come from it?

I tried again with Toni Collette replacing Trump and Captain Kirk replacing Putin. Same effect.

So I guess it is not about politics???

I played around some more, even the first line with Toni and Kirk was enough to get censored. Weird.

interesting. i bet it’s fear of lawsuits then and has to do with depictions of real people. nice find!

edit: would make sense then why we can still generate it but it gets removed from gallery so it isnt preventing us from making it but it cant be traced to perchance

Writing “Donald Trump as a waiter, serving the US flag” is as much as gets through. Anything more and… deleted.

Perhaps it’s two celebrities in the same prompt? The assumption may be that if they are both there, then you may be depicting those famous people as doing something together, which could be a big red flag.

It’s curious. Some people work, like Taylor Swift, and others don’t, like Natalie Portman. Is it a matter of training the database? Do we just have to keep training it? Or will we always miss certain personalities?

The training is happening on the server side, by the dev. Many model creators refuse to use celebrities and famous people as part of the training data (with a common exception for public figures) for their models. However, there is no rule about creating databases of these images and then using them to train models that you host. That’s what the training is for, to fill in the gaps that are in the model.
