I swear most of the people that talk about using arch these days dont even use arch and instead use distros downstream of arch.

I switched from Arch to Endeavour because it was a faster set up time and the end result isn’t different

Ooo that’s me. I used to run arch (BTW), but last time I went Manjaro. I installed it like 4 years ago though and way too old and lazy to distro hop anymore

        Same here.
Manjaro is good enough for me, even though I hear one should use Endeavour or whatever.

There seem to be way more people that keep saying that they hate Arch users who keep saying that they use Arch than Arch users that keep saying that they use Arch.

I used to use Windows out of necessity. I didn’t really know any better, and there were no other options.

Now I use Windows just to spite Linux users. I never switched, and I’m doing GREAT.

Will you be doing great when all your activity and gets leaked in screenshot form from windows recall, and all your activity is logged via your mandatory online account tied to your PC?

Microsoft hand has been played and that’s the direction windows is going. It’s practically here.

That’s, like, your opinion, man. My PC runs fine and anything I don’t want gets blocked or removed.

I also run an OS that doesn’t define my online personality ✌️😌

It seems like this schtick is demonstrably a part of your online personality.

It’s good to have a rational for your choices. And we know it can’t be because you think Microsoft makes good software that you enjoy using.

Maybe you did. Maybe you didn’t. Do you control the source code? What if these “disabled” toggles are placebo and the “if” statement in the code doesn’t exist and it just always gobbles up your data? What a naive way to think.
