It’s extra fucked up that the native monument was called “Six Grandfathers.” Choosing to carve massive heads of old white dudes on it is just insult to injury.
I’m sure that fact was not lost on the KKK when they funded it.

Suppose the status-quo lasts for a hundred years. Do you think Israel will name it’s sports teams or helicopters after the Palestinians? Do you think IDF paratroopers will shout “Arafat!” when they jump?
Sounds like a DEI initiative. They wanted to diversify and make the white man in charge. The wanted equity so that the white man had all the control. And the wanted to include white man laws, religion into the area.
It’s a monument to racism, genocide, rape, etc.
