Schumer announced Thursday he would vote to pass Trump’s disastrous budget bill to avert a government shutdown, flipping on his own party just 24 hours after he signaled he would vote against the bill. Pelosi issued a statement the next day urging Senate Democrats not to follow his lead.
Man, I was just thinking last night that at least Pelosi never publicly capitulated like this, and then realized how absurd it was that I was yearning for the good old days of fucking Pelosi.
Primary the fucker. I’m tired of these shitty halfassed center obsessed babies who spend their time trying to appease republicans instead of standing up to them.
Its too late for primaries to be relevant.
Midterms are game changers. It is not too late for primaries.
The 2026 U.S. midterm elections are scheduled for November 3, 2026. All 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 Senate seats will be contested.
Schumer’s seat is up for reelection in 2028.
That doesn’t make the other 35 seats meaningless.
I’m no fan of Nancy either but she’s got more spine than Schumer I’ll give her that
All politicians do when they’re out of office.
Except Pelosi is still in office.
She’s not speaker any more, but she’s still a member. And I’m sure she would’ve said the same as speaker.
