I have been wondering if keeping his kid around is some sort of anti-assassination strategy.

Jesus Christ, what is wrong with you? His kid isn’t a helmet or a human shield. He’s a living reminder that at least one of Elon’s kids still likes him. Musk needs that as so many don’t once they grow up.

i don’t doubt that that is an added benefit. but the timing of his new human accessory (right after another shitty CEO got assassinated) seems to lend strong evidence to the ‘human shield’ hypothesis playing a roll. the kid can be both a PR move and a meat shield.

Me, the premier genius of our era: “If I use my son as a hat, nobody be able to harm me.”

Also me: “Going to do a big bump of ket, down a bottle of Jack, and have a surgeon rewire my dick to play music and shoot rainbows when I jerk off.”

Quite rich using a human shield when for the last year the term “human shield” has been an excuse to destroy that shield for the purpose of destroying the target. If say someone were to drop a 2000lb bomb on them, it would be Musks fault for using a human shield, right?

While I find the human shield arguments compelling, I figured he was just trying to virtue signal to the Republicans that he’s a good, old fashioned family man just like them. “Republicans love kids and family, right, so if I show off my kid at all times they’ll love me too, right? Please? Anyone? Please, love me.”

He’s too stupid to realize the right wing love of family is performative and they don’t actually give a shit about kids.

The first time I saw him with the kid, before the memes started, I literally said out loud to myself, “wtf is he using his kid as a human shield?” It was right after Super Mario Praxis dropped and that was my gut reaction.

It’s possible he wants to seem like dad of the year, but lots of politicians have wanted that, and they don’t do bring your kid to work day every day. Idk. Maybe it’s a dual-purpose thing, but my money is primarily on human shield

I saw a wild theory get floated that if something were to happen, the kid could be used for blood transfusion.

We’re on the darkest timeline if that were true
