Weird to say that when the artist has made the art the key point in the drama. The ‘art’ kind of is the drama. Especially the debate on if roughly drawn comics that don’t have punch lines even are art. The way I feel about them is as if they’re AI slop, but done by a person. Comics don’t have to be funny, they can be used to show a message/point of view. A great example I can think of is “Maus”.
