So when someone screetches their chair I literally feel the ground below me vibrate while I’m lying down on the couch.

I feel like it’s from downstairs but does that even make sense?

    Get some industrial washing machine shock absorbers from amazon. $20 or so, I put them under my bed leg’s and never feel a door close downstairs hard again.

    Put them under anywhere you feel, and it’ll help.

    They are normally made of high quality rubber and have grooves made to absorb movement. I also use them under my actual washing machine to spare the downstairs neighbor. Good luck

    It depends on the source of the vibration, and if there’s any kind of insulation.

    Everything equal, a door slam will be a door slam.

    But a couch slipping across the floor will be noisier from above

      It’s just so weird cause I feel like I can only hear the downstairs neighbours. And I also feel like they can only hear me 💀
