    Will this become a sign of the times? Will history books a few generations from how tell of how people were so poor they couldn’t even have eggs for Easter?

    I suppose that assumes that this is the low point.

    Yeah, bullshit. Most people don’t buy more than a couple dozen eggs for Easter, and then only if they have young kids. They’ll pay the extra five or ten bucks to have proper Easter eggs to dye.
