Not once, since Fallout 4’s release, in god only knows how many hundreds of hours of play time, have I gotten the perfectly preserved pie…

UNTIL TODAY.

I jumped up in such excitement that I smashed my knee into my desk and now walk like a feral, but god damnit who cares about pain when you have THE PIE.

Put it on a table right in front of Marcy, who is (naturally) assigned to a pillory forever.

I kind of wish Bethesda did more with the Longs. it would have been really nice to see them come to a healthier place with the help of the player. In the game as it launched, you only rreally have Jun apologizing to the player, and Marcy apologizing to Jun, and they’re kind of flat past that.

Yep. There was potential for growth and a good story there.

but instead they just left Marcy in complete asshole mode for the entirity of the game, which gets so fuckin old having to listen to her be an asshole every time you come through.

Honestly there have been many playthroughs where I just completely avoided anything to do with concord just so I wouldnt have to listen to Marcy be an asshole and Preston’s constant “OMG ANOTHER SETTLEMENT”

It doesn’t help that Bethesda NPCs have a tendancy to walk up to the player and start spouting off lines.

It’s one thing to walk through Sanctuary and hearing Marcy and Jun talking about Quincy, but it’s another thing entirely to have Marcy walk up to the player at a workbench, and then start spouting off ‘Do I look like I have time to chat?’

It would also have helped if she wasn’t so directly dismissive of the players efforts, such as insulting their settlement when realistically, they are doing the best they can.
