Members of Congress don’t typically have monumental achievements you can point to. Bernie’s primary job is working in committee, meaning he wrangles the other senators into actually getting work done.

Let me rephrase. What meaningful change or difference was made thanks to his advocacy and work throughout his years as a politician to make him suitable at 83 to become the face of resistance against fascism and hailed as a hero?
Regarding the bills and stances he took on previous US military interventions, it’s hard for me to see how he could be against the current status quo. I recognize he’s a progressive in the US political landscape but is this politicians truly the face that can take on MAGA and the oligarchs? Does he truly have what it takes?
