Rule of thumb when I can’t decide what to listen to, grab one of the first five Sabbath albums. Never fails!

This copy is pretty crappy, or my current turntable and speakers just can’t do it justice. Someday I should get the remaster, but for now I have a lot of affection for a pressing that is, after all, only a few years older than myself.

    I’m not really a Black Sabbath fan but this album is a must. Every song is just something else and the full package is a masterpiece.

    My mother in law got me a high quality repressing for my birthday a couple years ago, it sounds sooooo goood

      And I agree that this has to be a stone cold classic no matter what you may think of Sabbath. Me, I love most of their Ozzy years, it’s basically the inspiration and progenitor for maybe 50% of the music I still listen to.
