Transmen should all be able to claim these benefits now. I bet that would make them mad. Or are they gonna say transwomen arent allower and neither are transmen? Cuz thats basically just admitting its about transphobia not the “Birth gender” argument they always use.
it’s trans men, not “transmen”; and trans women, not “transwomen”. Trans is an adjective, meaning it’s a word that describes a noun. A trans man is a man who happens to be trans. The (grammatically incorrect) usage of trans as a noun (“a trans”, “transman”, “transwoman”, “transperson”, etc.) is a dogwhistle meant to imply that trans men aren’t men and trans women aren’t women but some separate category

I was just copying the syntax of transgender and replacing gender with the persons gender. Sorry for my lack of knowledge on that stuff. I tend to not really do much research on human rights issues since the correct position is pretty obviously just let people have rights.
