Are you saying this as someone who lives there or has visited yourself?
Can you say anything other than, “come travel halfway across the globe and see for yourself”?
And is it illegal to go abroad in your country or will people be sent to prison for that? I have been to many countries around the world. Why is it that a Chinese person like me can go and see the world with my own eyes, but you can’t?
I have been to Xinjiang. I have a lot of videos and photos on my phone to prove that I’ve been there. Moreover, I have friends from Xinjiang in my social circle. I can show you the videos, and I can also let you make a phone call with them to verify whether the so-called “concentration camps” you mentioned actually exist. But what’s the point of all this? The question is, are you willing to believe it? If you don’t come and see for yourself, for a lie that has been spread for decades, will you really be so easily convinced and willing to change your mind??
