We once sold a battery operated device, with the battery pack substantially bigger than that of a cell phone or even a laptop. When I cleaned out the last development samples, two of them were seriously blown up. They immediately went outside.

And just a few days ago I saw a video from China where an ebike battery blew up while charging in the families living room. Now that was serious fireworks…
