Mine is the Redding terminal market & the Chinese lantern festival, but would love to hear yours!

Climb the Art Museum steps and GO INSIDE. It’s a beautiful museum with a ton of famous art from many different eras. The Barnes has a ton of incredible art, too, mostly impressionism.

Most of the history stuff is probably obvious, but I took a tour into the tower of city hall that was pretty interesting. I don’t know if they still do it.

Get a cheesesteak, sure, but get a roast pork sandwich. If you go to Reading Terminal Market, get it from Dinic’s. While you’re there, get a Beiler’s doughnut.

Most of what I like is not touristy stuff, I guess. There are some really nice parks and neighborhoods I like to hang out in. I can recommend coffee shops.

I’ve never done the lantern festival, I guess I should make an effort to visit this summer. I’ve also been meaning to check out the Rodin museum for an eternity. Maybe I can make a day of it and do the Rodin before heading over to the lantern fest.

I realize I haven’t shared any of my favorite activities. I’ve had annoying interactions with their security staff, but on nice days the view from the rooftop at the Cira Green is fantastic. Great spot to sit in the grass with a cold beer.

Wissahickon Park is always nice and relaxing too.

Gettysburg, grandma used to take me there. She had this ability since childhood to find 4 leaf clover anywhere she went. I’ve spent hours combing and never found one.

When she died there was a shoebox full that we buried her with.

Id add going to see Bannerman Franklin Institute and going to see his printing press.
