“let he who hath no sin cast the first stone”

Jesus defended a woman adulterer from an angry mob wanting to stone her, drew a line in the sand, spat that zinger of a line, the all ended up leaving, and Jesus forgave her.

“Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”
    “No one, sir,” she said.
“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

I think Jesus woulda been pro-trans. dude was incredibly woke and based

From my limited Torah rereading the Jews don’t see gender as binary but they do see sex as binary.

Not my area of expertise though so take what I grab from Google with a spoon of salt

Zachar (male): This is the standard term for a male individual.

Nekevah (female): This is the standard term for a female individual.

Androgynos: This term refers to individuals who possess both male and female physical characteristics. In Jewish law, androgynos are considered to have some rights and obligations of both men and women.

Tumtum: This term describes individuals whose sexual characteristics are indeterminate or obscured. They are considered to have some of the obligations and prohibitions of both men and women.

Aylonit: This refers to a person assigned female at birth but who does not develop secondary female sex characteristics at puberty and is likely infertile.

Saris: This term refers to a person assigned male at birth who develops feminine characteristics, potentially due to castration or other factors.

I totally forgot about all the gender stuff! It’s so humanistic of them to include all these gender forms, since people are so varied. i love it! no prejudice, just “here’s our classification schema for how people tend to develop over time”

On the one hand, yes, on the other hand, this was a society where forced castration was common
