I’ve been looking into it and someone said it was really cool. however, im hesitant because many people think it’s bad.

You show up at the next recruitment drive (or at their local clubhouse, I’m sure they’ll let you in) and tell them you wanna join and you have the cash needed to advance through the levels.

    Don’t, though.

Easy: go to a center and have a “psychological screening”

They will then charge you money for books.

And everything you said in the screening will be used to black mail you for the rest of your life.

Every penny you earn will belong to them and you’ll disappear if you resist.

Well, it’s a cult created by a science fiction author, so you just ask to join. But it’s also a scam, so they’ll want all your money to get points for the cult that can be used to purchase new skins for your thetans or possibly shake hands with Tom Cruise.

Don’t. Even if it’s not a cult (it totally is) it’s a scam designed to extract money from people. If you just want to give up a significant portion of your money and feel like you belong you’re welcome to buy a shitload of weed and come hang out with my friends and I.

It’s easy enough to become one, as it is any cult member, if you want to. Just approach a member of the cult, ask to join, and give them your life savings. But why would you want to?
