Most honest US politician says unlimited force to protect his elevated position is fine, but the tiniest amount of force protesting that position is illegal terrorism.
To me, this looks like yet another sign that the current regime is striving for tyranny. That, in turn, would probably mean civil war, unless US citizens are willing to accept the end of democracy.

It’s not like a bunch of people stormed the capitol building or something. This is the flimsiest excuse ever for martial law, so I have to assume it’s another step towards tyranny.
