Hey, i’m quite new to perchance so i’m not really familiar with it yet. sorry if my question is stupid. i was wondering, when i create a character, if there is a way to save it and use it as a reference. as a small example: i would like to create graphics for a storyline or a comic. but for that i need a character that looks the same in several situations. is that somehow possible?
You could try my generator: https://perchance.org/imageconstructor. Choose as many details for a character from the menus as you want, type extra details in the prompt if needed, then go to Tools -> Save. You can always return to that character, Actor -> Main character -> Saved. Then, you can use Pose menu to choose camera angles, pose and facial expressions for that character and scenes for place, light, weather and background/vibe. There’s little consistency with the faces in the new AI model, but If you provide enough details and choose to generate many images at once (in the Style menu), then one of them look like the one you had in mind. You can also narrow the variety of faces and styles it generates by choosing a famous artist in the Styles menu and sampler in the Tools. Small disclaimer: we only recently got the new model, the generator is in the early beta, I’m open to any suggestions.
Nice work.
Is there somehow the possibility to save the character longer, like in a local file? As soon as I close the browser session I loose everything?
It stores locally on your drive but I’ve been coding these days and changed a lot, that’s why it constantly resets for you. Sorry about that. Previously working version is not fully functional atm, because I added image dropdowns, and they are not saved atm. I’m gonna finalize the early beta soon. Until then, I’d recommend making a duplicate of the generator from the settings, so you’re not affected by me coding.
Btw, if you do Reset all, make sure to click “No”. It asks if it should also erase saved characters, that could also affect you loosing them.
