God damn it, now I have to overtly say that “no, I don’t want anyone touching my phone charger”

(The law is good, but this is just an unintended consequence of that 😓)

    You can just say youre not comfortable lending a charger and instead take custody of their device to charge or own a really cool long cable which shows your intent to compromise even in the presence of boundaries others aren’t prepared to understand.

      Don’t give people a way to get around your boundaries. They’ll just learn that there is a way to violate them, without repercussion and seek out more boundaries to push back.
