They call it a Grant because it is a Great Big ANTitank target.

Unfortunately it is very stimulating to the rivets once the shells start hitting :(

Also I am not so sure about them calling it a Sherman because of the shear manliness of it, because this guy is surely the most “sure man” of them all and he gets no tanks at all.

Twenty years ago, Santo (Sandy) LaMantia was just happy to be vice president of engineering. A musician for most of his life, LaMantia was well-versed in the product line at Shure, so when the opportunity to join the engineering department came up, it was an easy decision.

I don’t mean this as a dig at Shure or any of its CEOs, honestly they are a kickass microphone company the Shure SM58 alone has empowered more people to be the most ridiculous and weird version of themselves than pretty much any other object in modern history. Any category, iconic guns/weapon systems, scientific devices, medicine, whatever, put it up against Shure SM58, Shure SM58 wins easy.

Yes because nothing blitzes harder and with more unflinching initiative than a mechanized Electronics Warfare SM57/58 Brigade.

Whatever lethality you possess now is guranteed to be obsoleted by the very nature of their ordinance long before you can get your armor in position.
