I’m no expert, but it would seem to me if you can make a decision like this with the same casual timeframe you have to avoid something like late fees, there’s probably no urgent reason for you to do it.

In this case, since there’s no urgent need to do any of this, one might ask why the fuck you would even considering doing it? Or why you helped your asshole friend strike first while distracting Iran and the rest of the world? Or why your other asshole friend bombed civilians in Kyiv for 9 hours straight yesterday while everyone was distracted by all the other chaos?

You 3 aren’t planning something nefarious or anything, right?

He thinks being unpredictable makes gives him an upper hand in negotiations.

    Problem is, everybody knows this.

So he hopes the world has forgotten what he said by then. 2 weeks is Trump’s tell - either he doesn’t want to commit, or he has no idea what’s going on, either way in two weeks he hopes everybody has moved on and forgotten.

Hopefully, I just don’t put it past him to be envisioning a false flag something happening over the next 2 weeks that will suddenly help gain public support for/ allow the U.S. to have a reason to retaliate against Iran.

I had to laugh when I saw a snippet from the news this morning where they played a short clip of other “2 week” promises he made that were based on nothing and led to nothing.

Maybe Trump is just 2 week as a leader.

Podcast I listen to played a supercut of him promising stuff in two weeks. I think it was Professional Left, but they might have clipped it from Psaki’s show…

I feel like TACO Don got his leadership style from the producers of Dragon Ball Z. Every announcment is a bunch of incoherent rambling that ends with next time I’ll tell you what I’m going to do…

Then a lot of hollow threats, and standing in a big group shouting “waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!” Thinking something is happening and you’re flashing colors, then flying away shouting “I’ll defeat you later!”

Remember he still thinks he is negotiating some sort of agreement with Iran. This is classic Trump, from even before he was President: apply external pressure to people he is negotiating with to get what he wants. And everything is a negotiation.

We knew this when he ran for President the first time, his business were famous for not paying contractors and vendors over oversights (real and imagined), leaving the vendors in the lurch. They could always sue, but that costs money, and Trump’s lack of payment leaves them with less money. If they do sue, Trump’s lawyers (the ones he pays, at least) use every procedural trick in the book to stall the lawsuit until the vendor goes under.

He’s basically trying to do the same thing here, except he wants to use the threat of nukes to get a “deal”.

I think Trump 8 years ago would have done this ,had some back ass strategy; but now he is really senile. People are reading too much into these contradictions said by a very confused man

That is very scary considering he is setting up a nuclear attack, or at least going through the motions.

This guy would have solved the situation in Ukraine in one day had he been president but needs two weeks to decide on this?

Just like his tax returns, health care plan, ending both the Israel/Palestine war and the Ukraine/Russia war (these were promised as 1 day but fits my point still). He’s full of orange shit.
