Why would Texas secede?
The oligarchs likely figure they can exploit people and resources easier without federal oversight.
Because the rest of the country isn’t openly fascist enough.
Wholly uncritical, unconditional support to the Texans in their attempts to balkanize the Great Satan, just do it already! All these reactionaries are sowing are the seeds for imperialism’s demise.
Texas seceding would instantly start rapid balkanization of, if not civil war throughout, the country. And that would cost a lot of people a lot of money. It’ll never happen but if it does stock up on beans and bullets.
