Alt-text: Screenshot of a social media post. It shows a promotional image for Bob Vylan’s live performance at Glastonbury, showing text that it is scheduled for Saturday from 14:30 to 15:30 at West Holts. The image features two smiling members of the band against a purple background with BBC and Glastonbury logos. Text above is written by the band (with a verified check mark) and reads, “Turns out we’re finally at a point where the BBC trust us on live tv! Watch us live either in the field or in the comfort of your own home!”
To add to that people put off the slogan Israel’s been committing a genocide in Gaza for the past two years.
I I think if you’re committing genocide it’s fair to wish for the destruction of the military force doing said genocide.
If the slogan makes you feel uncomfortable that’s a “you problem” and I feel like you need to do some soul searching about why you’re protecting those committing a genocide.
Yes I do know about the Holocaust, and the Dreyfus Affair, no I don’t think that justifies the creation of Israel as a state and certainly not one that’s as blood soaked Israel is.
