The Trump administration has put on hold $6.8 billion in federal funds for K-12 schools, according to an Education Department notice obtained by States Newsroom. […] The agency informed states on Monday that it would be withholding funding for several programs, including before- and after-school programs, migrant education and English-language learning, among other initiatives.
How are you withholding that much without wage garnishment happening?
Underpay one year, get on a super cheap repayment plan (say, $100/mo).
Then keep underpaying and they just tack it on to the balance but your payment stays the same.
My friend has been doing it for 8+ years now and has racked up six figures+. I’ve only been doing it for 3ish.
I don’t actually advise this as I’m not a lawyer or an accountant and it could go very badly.
If garnishment does happen, one possible advantage is that most of my jobs are 1099 contract nowadays so maybe I could skirt that? I honestly don’t know. I don’t care right now, in roughly a year I plan to leave the US and never return.
And roughly what 3rd world country without U.S. Extradition for tax fraud are you planning to go to?
Never said I wasn’t going to pay it, just not paying it quickly.
