    He’s missed the base for the psychological superstructure.

    U.S is the one who historically, if not currently, propped up Japan’s economy when the US triumphed over it, post-WW2, and popped it at the Plaza Accords, when it later became a threat, and the one with its military bases on the latter’s territory since then.

    The anti-communism of Japan’s local comprador capitalists and the servile nature of Japan as such derive from that.

    The other day somebody on YouTube made a comparison between “respect” and “love”.

    I love my dog. But I don’t respect it. My dog is entirely subservient to my will, it will never defy me. I respect a fellow human being, but I don’t necessarily love them. That human being has the same capabilities as me. I would be foolish to not respect them.
