    Back in the day, one Union job could pay for a family of four with a few luxuries and a reasonable nest egg.

    In 1960, minimum wage was $1.00/hour and the average US home was $11,000.00

    Anyone could afford to start a family.

    Today, you can have two people on minimum wage living together can’t afford to go to a concert every week, much less raise a kid.

      Well, I earn $75/hr and there’s no way in hell I’d ever consider a home that costs $8,250,000! I wonder if your numbers are off.
