I remember watching this in the cinema… I don’t recall ever experiencing such an amount of heartfelt laughter while watching a movie. Fun times.
I somehow got let in to watch it despite being a lot younger than 18 at the time. The film was (is) amazing. Being a teenager the nude scenes were epic. At the time the only nudity available was staying up late on the weekend to watch Euro Trash. Then the internet happened.
Is this going to be a remake of the Paul Verhoeven movie or a movie faithful to the book? I got the impression it was going to be the latter and it scares me. At this point in the US, such a movie would awfully seem like the kind of militaristic propaganda Trump would love for his expansionist Putinesque fantasies.

Two of the best picture noms for the recent oscars were based around trans people… a heavy maga type true rendition (satirical or tongue-in-cheek is beside the point here) of the actual novel by robert heinlein will not be made in this current climate…

2 tries to be a survival horror set in the Starship Troopers universe. At least 3 is fun, in the same style as the first movie, and it has Jolene Blalock and Casper Van Dean.
I learned of 2, and 3, many years later, during my heavy stoner years.
Now I’ll tell yah. Being high as shit is really dangerous, in that it can make you think that truly mid, or even bad, stuff is amazing/hilarious.
Even the “high as fuck bump” couldn’t save these sequels, they were so bad and not memorable at all. Would not recommend
I watched the Tom cruise samurai movie absolutely ripped to the nips one time. Had a whole bunch of people other and put it on again because i thought it was great.
