I saw that thread. They’re not. The entire comment chain was literally “owning the libs” by claiming hypocrisy. Anyone that pointed out that Jan 6 happened, or heaven forbid was worse, was downvoted and silenced.
Darn. Maybe someday “conservative” won’t be synonyms with authoritarian lap dog.
Only if the left reclaims it to mean something good like “conserving the environment”, like the right did with libertarian in the other direction.
