Mitch McConnell didn’t just enable Trump—he architected the road to American fascism.
Burn in hell, Mitch.
He is desperately trying to redeem his legacy for future historians, now that he realizes he is going to be taking the blame in future history books for enabling the MAGA scourge. He has finally figured out that he will be remembered as one of the worst, most destructive, Americans in history. He deserves it.
I hope he believes in God so he can live in terror of the afterlife during whatever life he has left.
In all fairness he would have been irrelevant if he didn’t build the court that almost ended the republic. His picture in the textbook will be his blank franklin the tortoise stare in the light of one of the the last of his press conferences.
