Hey all. I’ve been looking for a small, basic USB-C hub with pass through power. Like literally just 4 USB-C ports, a short cable and a USB-C power in. No extra nonsense, just a minimal way to connect an SSD, a monitor, and power to my deck, and charge a peripheral if necessary. It seems unreasonably hard to find! Any suggestions?
UGREEN has a nice one with 3 normal USB and one USB C. Went with it because it folds up nice for packing and the dock to deck cord is removable so I can easily use a different cable if I want to use it with my laptop.
Tragus makes one. It’s okay. Out of 30 users I hear that they sometimes need to reseat it when it stops working. Might be related to the users connecting it to a docking station and reconnecting a laptop to it once or twice a day.
You could just get a cheap adapter and a pack of a to c adapters.
I got my adapter from AliExpress https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806910619920.html
I have a few of those, but the Mokin hub suggested by u/Fubarberry above is exactly what I was after, I’m trying to get it to be as tiny as possible.
