Zac Bowden / Windows Central: In the latest Windows 11 preview build, Microsoft removed the “bypassnro” command, which let users skip signing into a Microsoft Account when installing Windows — The popular “bypassnro” command, which let users to skip connecting to the Internet and signing into a Microsoft Account, is being removed.
Did they added a screen where you can install drivers before the account creation page? Or do they mean if your wifi or ethernet hardware need some special driver you can’t install windows on it anymore? I regularly install windows on kvm with virtio ethernet, and I have to use bypassnro because I can only install the driver after install.
Requiring a custom installation image!?
Tjis means Microsoft is pushing less tech-savy users to download unofficial images, by removing a basic widely used feature from its official images.
What could possibly go wrong?
