Unless attitudes at the MLB have changed in recent years, I remember them being less favorable to Canadian teams on a normal day. Americans have a larger population of baseball fans and that’s where the money is, I fully believe team management would not want to seem antagonistic.
I acknowledge that he’s doing the right thing for now; which to be clear is: prioritizing Canadian interests.
I’m anxious this is going to be like early-covid Ford, where he will be very eager to get back to normal once things even slightly ease up.

Mail in ballots have already been cast. I want to be hopeful. I expect to be disappointed.
Anyone who disagrees with Ford’s policies needs to get out and vote because this is not even close to a lock.

I used to have a boss like that, he’d toss in an ellipsis at the most inappropriate locations.
It made all his emails appear sarcastic. Leave it to a guy who focused primarily on decorum instead of substance to send an email like
“Good job…”
and not know how that reads.

In Canada it’s a politically successful strategy to agitate the suburbs. Even if implemented at the start of a liberal government, conservatives would be able to get rid of congestion fees in as little as 4 years.
Look at what Ontario is doing to the bike lanes in Toronto. It has been a struggle to get the bare minimum of biking infrastructure put in over the last 3 mayors of Toronto and the Provincial Conservatives have successfully campaigned suburbanites against the bikes lanes that are not even present in their own neighborhoods.
It’s not just you. Second hand embarrassment is just as bad as first hand embarrassment for me.
It’s a wildly unpopular take, but it’s the reason I can’t watch most of Steve Carell’s stuff, including the office.
Primary contributor is a single user with mod status, and extremely limited engagement via comments. Looks susceptible to bias based on metadata alone.
