My mobile spelling has gotten to be garbage because my phone keyboard autocorrects Sometimes and I’ve gotten lazy about Swype/deleting mid-word mistakes. My pen/paper and also physical keyboard spelling remains persnickety
This is the trend that makes me genuinely worry that we may not avoid neofeudalism. Right now, joe schmoe can at least participate in the Market, but when that goes away, what hope do we (and capitalism in general) have except unions?

This isn’t from sly/Ginny/colville etc, and maybe a weird one, but for my table: “don’t be afraid of a little silence”. I would fear it, fill it with whatever I could, and that hurt the pacing, the quality of descriptions, and intraparty RP. A great improvement was achieved by talking less
I’m for UBI at the federal level, but everything I’ve read/heard about the details of 118, including from my tax lawyer sister, is that it’s terribly written and would be bad policy as a result. We’ve had some wacky referendums in Oregon over the years, a lot of naive good intentions. I’ll probably have to dust off my reading glasses for the text of 118, because if we try UBI and it fails, it’ll be a warning example to discourage everyone else - the same way that the decriminalization-without-recovery-support was
Does kind of feel like a general strike is the only tenable way out. All options, including nothing, will likely suck more - and a strike is really going to suck
