I’m confused by this as well. The law is the take it down act. It does not make it illegal to generate images of famous people. It makes it illegal to post nude images of them without consent only if they request it taken down. So there’s no reason here that the law should be limiting the ability to generate faces for personal use. Other platforms like civitai have also removed famous people. It doesn’t make any sense, it’s an extreme knee jerk reaction.

I do not like the new model doesn’t know celebrity faces also. It knows will Smith but not Jack Nicholson, not anyone like the old model knew every celebrity almost. Please put old model back 😭
