Tchia just oozes summer vibes, and is inspired by the culture of New Caledonia. No failing, tons of extra accessibility options, skip gameplay segments if you feel like it, autoplay QTA’s, and so on.
Personally I like a little bit of a challenge even in my cozy games, but Tchia has so much character that I didn’t mind.
If you watched the whole video, he later dismisses it as the back wheels can turn as well, so they probably just folded in without them necessarily breaking

When I initially clicked on the article, it had related articles at the bottom, one of which explaining that the account is a satire account. It’s not there when I click the link again, but I did find it online
Yeah, Poe’s law also applies I suppose. Anything satirical is taken for truth by people that already believe or want to believe the thing being satirized. Or it already exists but worse, like you mention.

Which is what everyone with some sense predicted, except Xitter exploded into drama from faking proof that it was directly copying Pokémon to claiming wild things like using gen AI to create the models.
These things are easily verified (or rather, debunked), but it was already too late. I lost a lot of faith in some gaming journalists as they kept perpetuating the wild takes and claims.
We’ll do this all again soon with another game and we will not learn from it.

Is the porpoising caused by regulations? I’ve understood it as teams not wanting to make alterations to prevent loss of aero, but they are able to fix it if they wanted to (like other teams).

Yeah I got that vibe but I wanted to include all the accessibility stuff because 1) it’s awesome and 2) it can be used as a custom difficulty slider, which fits into the “I don’t want to work hard on this” on a very personalised level. Either enable something, everything, or nothing at all. Your choice!
