While I’m all for people getting armed, it is fair to say that some people just aren’t mentally ready for it. It’s a big step to take and a lot of responsibility and you have to have your ego absolutely in check if you are going to carry. There’s a bit of desperation growing now but if someone’s not comfortable with it, they probably won’t seek it out
