From the article, it doesn’t sound like the market is saturated with oil at all. If the oil companies are afraid that more drilling will drive prices down, it sure seems like they’re colluding to restrict the amount of oil in the market so they have some cover for their price fixing. That said, the focus should really be on switching to renewables, but that won’t be happening anytime soon.

Didn’t they do that years ago when the Diablo 1 and 2 devs formed their own studio and made Torchlight 1 and 2? And then went under because the games didn’t sell enough and the IP got sold to some shady company who made it into a weird, half assed MMO?

According to the Graphene OS website, the main issue isn’t even that. It’s that you can’t relock the boot loader on almost any device other than a Pixel. That leaves a huge security hole on the phone, and it’s one that almost all rooted users of other phones have open, whether they realize it or not.

Sadly, they’re one of the worst offenders of shutting things down.

Yes, just. It takes around 10-15 minutes and zero technical knowledge. As long as you can plug something into a USB port, read a website, and click a couple of buttons on the website, you can install Graphene OS.
