What’s the advantage of socket activation? Is it more secure than exposing a docker port?

No reason not to have both. Things like vaultwarden do warrant an extra layer so setup wildcard domain for internal services x.local.example.com and then normal certs for external stuff like y.example.com.
To get internal stuff you then need your vpn as well to access it. You can now easily choose what risk you want on a per app basis.
Technotim has a good video on this
Oh i see.
that is a good point. Being about the mount the borg repo and pull out a specific file is very useful. Not sure I would do it as a bloc device since I don’t think there is an easy way to see specific files.
With snapshots it costs nothing if the OS files don’t change much
Self host radicale if you don’t want the whole nextcloud suite
If I run traefik and jellyfin in docker, do I add the docker IP of traefik as the trusted proxy?
Android wireguard all hasn’t been updated in 18mo. Its extremely simple with a small code base. There basically isn’t anything to update. It uses wireguard kernel module which is itself is only like 700 lines of code. It so simple that it basically became stable very quickly and there is nothing left of update right now.

I personally get the from obtainium to bypass play store
I just stay connected to wireguard even at home, only downside is the odd time I need to chromecast, it needs to be shut off.
I use plain wireguard on me phone, always on essentially with no issues. I wonder why tailscale app can’t stay open.
I didnt even remember which os I had until I read this and remembered it was aurora
How do I use nixos for docker? I’ve tried before but what I want is to be able to pull docker compose from a git and deploy it. I haven’t been able to find an easy way to do that on docker
Why not fennac straight from F-droid?
Is librewolf a good alternative? Most plugins seem compatible
The android app has had downloads for years, they just download the entire file to your phone.
Streamyfin is a newer android app that also works very well with downloads.
I can assure you that you will regret spending time and effort building something out of OSB and then having to live with it for the rest of your life.
Spend a bit more, do it well, and then enjoy the fruits of your labor for years to come.
The same as for anything else if your phone gets stolen. You restore from backups.
Aegis allows you to make a backup that you can keep yourself on your computer, your own cloud storage etc.
Every OS has some kind of built in vault/encryption feature. Put the file in there. It only needs to be updated when you add another 2fa account (so very infrequently)
Don’t use cloud based 2fa and you won’t need to wonder about this.
Aegis is one of several opensource 2fa apps you can use instead.
Not using cloud based 2fa which is dumb to begin with
Use aegis, export the keys and then reimport them every time you switch. Trusting your second factor to a cloud is a disaster waiting to happen.
If you want to get fancy setup your own cloud server (nextcloud, Seafile, owncloud etc) and set the backup folder for aegis to the self hosted cloud for easy restore every time you switch ROMs.
I use vlc, it scans the entire device and shows all downloaded media, after I watch something I just delete it using vlc.
Findroid works if you want it all integrated but I haven’t tried it yet
