High praise!!
I hope to see them live sometime soon.
I just checked the updated app. You also get customizable charts. This is a feature that is silly to hide behind a paywall.
I can just cross my fingers and hope Garmin doesn’t do what Strava did.
As for the touchscreen… What watch was that?? That sounds like a terrible fitness watch.
This isn’t surprising given the Ford family owns the team.
I’m torn on this. As a lions fan, I get it. But I do like that divisions matter. It gives an added level of incentive to do everything possible to win your division.
Listened to half the new album so far. Really dig it.
I’m more or less with you. I don’t have a huge problem with the subscription stuff right now. But let’s see if they start hiding basic things behind it. I would guess that they will, but I can hope that they won’t.
I don’t want a smart watch. I want a fitness watch and that’s what I have. I love the touch screen on mine, but it also has all the same physical buttons that other Garmins do. AND it disables the touchscreen when I go for my workouts which is perfect.
This was quite the surprise. The Athletic article mentions that he and the FO were having major disconnects this year. Maybe it just came to the point of no return.
Look, I think there is something to it, but you really have to give details. I’m good with free access to healthcare, good with people marrying whoever they want (over the age of 18), transgender rights, etc.
All of that. I love it all. But I’d rather not be taxed to hell and have those funds horribly mis managed. I’m okay with taxes but I know there is so much waste with my funds. That’s where I’d like improvement. I suppose in some eyes that would make me slightly fiscally conservative.
I’ve been using summit since my earlier comment. I have to say this is the closest to my experience with sync yet.
I like it. Just need to work out some of the settings, but it appears this will do for me.
I’m a current sync user. I have tried both Voyager and jerboa. I don’t like either one. Neither are as smooth and gestures don’t work as well on either one. I’m clinging onto sync until the features I use break.
Great notes on the labels and on the cameras. I wasn’t thinking about cameras at all yet, but I do plan on having a couple.
This is great. Will investigate.
This is super cool. I’ve never heard of this until now. I’m 99% sure there are coax run through at least most of the rooms.
I won’t be doing major remodeling. Don’t have the budget (or the time). The house is in good shape thankfully. I’m mostly interested in figuring out the network situation.
Thanks good stuff.
Good tip on going into the attic/under the roof. I’ll have an attic in this place so maybe that’s the best option to run the wires.
I’ve patched drywall a handful of times. I’m good enough at it that I can get it done it just takes me longer than it should hahaha.
In terms of what I want… It’s going to be 2 work from home stations/desks. These won’t move. A gaming setup (this is what I want hard wired the most).
But I also want to have a drop in each bedroom - just in case.
Fiber is not an option. I’ll be getting a cable connection (spectrum). I’m hoping fiber comes to the area soon and I can switch.
The 255 is also MIP and is basically the same as the one I have (265). The 265 swapped out the display for an amoled display.
Thank you! This is very comprehensive. I have a place to start now.
