Quit obeying in advance.
How about the final solution to the nazi TV pundit problem? 🤔
Maybe there’s a place we can send them all.
McConnell did this to America. As I far as I’m concerned he’a a goddamn traitor to democracy.
This is what you wanted Mitch. You raised the leopard about to eat your face, and you deserve it more than almost anyone in Congress.
Yeah right, shut the fuck up and get out of our way already Nancy.
I was actually reading this wikipedia page earlier after posting and it seemed like these Anti-BDS laws only apply to government offices and government contractors
Most anti-BDS laws have taken one of two forms: contract-focused laws requiring government contractors to promise that they are not boycotting Israel; and investment-focused laws, mandating public investment funds to avoid entities boycotting Israel.
A broad law mandating that the public at large can’t not buy certain products, or can’t ask others to do the same would be unenforceable I would think – though I’m not going to doubt the Roberts Court ability to find some way to make something that absurd law if asked by their king…
Everyone’s actually required to buy a Tesla now or else they’re gonna be in really big trouble
Declaring a boycott as illegal is itself illegal and a violation of the 1st Amendment 🌷🌈🖕
Sounds like the CEO is the one who needs to resign
Those are rookie numbers… I hope see it drop to its pre-pandemic valuation over the next year 📉
So, what paths are still available for us to preserve and restore those civic freedoms?
“Many of you may have to suffer while I destroy our alliances and funnel your money to billionaires, but that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.”
Interesting video. Makes sense to have a dedicated high frame rate camera for crash analysis.
I didn’t realize there’s only a 1/3 second delay from car to broadcast! I always thought it was more like a second+
The original Digg was an important site for me personally between 2005-2009, but only in that early era and mostly as a bridge between my Fark and Reddit eras. I honestly can’t see it competing with Reddit’s established user base or being as no-nonsense and free as Lemmy. I don’t think it will gain traction and the AI aspect will turn a lot of people off from it.
The idea of a Cadillac F1 team always seemed weird to me, but this take makes a ton of sense. I guess Cadillac seems more fitting than a Buick or GM marque, but I still think they should have gone with Chevrolet since there are / have been existing Chevy motorsport teams.
I created my first Reddit account in over a decade and was shadowbanned almost immediately. I didn’t even get a chance to post a semi-“controversial” opinion! The site is total garbage these days.
I understand they need to have a broad appeal to different groups, moreso than republicans do, but they could easily achieve that same broad appeal by actually fighting for the working class and not doing things like steamrolling Bernie. The out of touch nature of current leadership is effectively neutering the party.
It would be a good thing long term for progressives to finally split from dems IMHO, though I wish we would have a ranked choice type system in place beforehand, but either way it needs to happen.
The DNC is pretty much always playing it too safe…
