I totally get this. Same exact experience when I am back to birth place. I rarely return. Hehe

Overall, the takeaway for me is dogmatic and ideological purity must be cautioned against just as much as reactionary and capitalist counter revolutionary movements.
Pursuing the implementation of historical materialism and Marxism as a PRACTICE, unique to each material condition and historical moment, at a particular system or place by a particular people available.
This reading had a key quote that reminded me how starkly different Deng was compared to the current USA geriatric leadership:
> More young people should be promoted to positions of leadership. The present central leaders are rather advanced in years. Those who are a little over 60 are counted as young. They may be able to work for another 10 years, but 20 years from now they will be in their 80s, like me.
… It is essential for old people like us to stand aside, give newcomers a free hand and watch them mature. Old people should voluntarily offer younger ones their places and give them help from the sidelines, but never stand in their way. >>
Was re-reading this. What stood out was classifying PSL as Trotskyist and revisionist. The PSL statements, program and publications I’ve read have appeared to be quite clear didn’t strike me as revisionist.
Not sure if the USU expands on this and I missed it. Perhaps you have insight or another suggested reading on that?
What are must subscribe Lemmygrad and Hexbear forums?
That’s hear-say. I’d caution parroting claims like this without evidence. That’s what the feds would want, tarnishing and pitting revolutionaries against one another. I asked that person for their source or evidence.
OP, you said:
seeing the comment about how the upper leadership in the FRSO are a bunch of feds

“You need to read at least five books to strengthen theoretical study. I recommend these five books to you: Communist Manifesto, “The Development of Socialism from Contopia to Science”, “Two Strategies of the Social Democratic Party in the Democratic Revolution”, “The Childish Disease of the Left” in the Communist Movement”, “The Communist Party (Bu) A concise course on the history of the party, here are all of Ma, En, Lie and Si. If 5,000 to 10,000 people read it and have a general understanding, it would be good and beneficial.” Mao Zedong’s Collected Works, Volume 3, Page 417)

ProleWiki page on Tibet had some good references. Perhaps these have some primary sources you can highlight as well that aren’t Chinese.

Honest question. Why does the leadership follow a family line? Perhaps it’s a coincidence. I’m so inundated with western media so I’m genuinely seeking the input outside of that news diet - is it something that could be beyond the Kim family?
edit: typo
Lots of Ukraine and USA flags there. Liberals for sure. It was at best a popular front event. Agitate and recruit potentials to mass socialist organizations. That’s all.
