I think they’re actually chop sticks.
I think they’re actually chop sticks.
Los Angeles also has a higher population than 50% of the countries on the planet.
For a small segment of the trip. The problem with public transportation is that all these people are going to different locations and a bus being more efficient for 50% of the travel doesn’t really help you for the other 50%
I feel bad for people who live where tap water tastes like shit. Our water source is straight from snow melt here in the PNW and is so clean that we didn’t even need to treat it (other than filtering through sand) up until a few years ago when a reservoir experienced a toxic algae bloom. Places like LA and Vegas have notoriously god awful tap water which is doubly bad since it makes it difficult to drink even though you’re in the desert.
Well this thief has stolen my heart.
That isn’t a “if we could only change the past screed,” it’s calling the party leadership out for allowing things to get to this point. Where in a bus barreling toward the edge of a cliff while the driver has been ignoring our pleas to turn literally any other direction. Now we’re feet from the edge and you want to chastise us for not giving an exact direction earlier and happily plummet over the cliff with the driver.
I don’t understand how this is supposed to be like some ‘gotcha’ question. Biden wasn’t a strong candidate in 2016 and lost to Hillary, who then lost to Trump. He wasn’t a strong candidate in 2020 which is why he barely squeaked by Trump to victory. He’s an even worse candidate in 2024 which is why Trump again has a shot at the presidency.
None of this is new information and the party has has nearly a decade to find a good candidate, yet they keep foisting some of the most unlikable people upon us election afrer election after election. It almost seems as if they’re doing it on purpose at this point. It’s not our fault that they’ve waited until the 11th hour to listen to the complaints and even acknowledge what we’ve all been saying for years. If Biden loses again, maybe stop looking at leftists to blame and start looking at the people in charge of this private organization deciding the fate of us all.
10/10 response to being asked to explain a joke. Somehow you made the joke explanation even funnier than the original joke.
Are you saying you have multiple brain worms?
The 20mg ones are nic salts which work a bit differently which is why they’re stronger. The refillable “freebase juice” is what came in 3, 6, 12mg and it sounds like it’s getting banned. Nic salt is supposed to be used at much lower wattage so that you get less with each puff but it works faster (similar to a cigarette). Pretty much all the disposables use nic salts.
It’s because they weren’t subject to the tobacco tax that cigarette companies must pay due to the Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement (MSA). Now the vaping industry is all but decimated outside of disposables, but you can still go buy your favorite cigarettes at any corner store.
Right you said it “doesn’t matter” which is another way of saying that something is unimportant.
Here it is for Oregon. Every state will have its own version.
803.025 Violating title requirements; penalty. (1) A person commits the offense of violating vehicle title requirements if the person owns or operates any vehicle in this state for which this state has not issued title.

I’ve come to the conclusion that a good chunk of Lemmy users either live in Seattle, or have no actual concept of money.
More likely that most of the people making 6 figures are living in moderate to high cost of living areas plus the inherent draw of tech-minded people on a platform such as this.
It’s 2016 all over again.
It’s the same team sport politics that MAGA supporters engage in.
I mean the proof is in the pudding with this one as you must also ask yourself why E15 is banned during summer months in the first place. If you can answer that question you’ll likely find the information you’re looking for.
If it was as unimportant as you think it is, it wouldn’t be getting ruled on by SCOTUS. It absolutely does matter, especially with groups like the right who continually challenge laws to find ways to loosen or completely negate them.
Where I live this will cause what would be a 15 minute car ride into 1.5 hours of hopping on different busses and then walking 1/2 mile to your destination on either end. I don’t have a problem with effective public transportation but outside of major population centers like Manhattan, I haven’t seen one that really works all that well here in the US.
