In the film “Mars Attacks” there’s a scene where the US president, country under attack, takes a call from the French president who thinks he’s negotiated a peace deal with the Martian ambassador.
The US president wearily says “Maurice, get out of the room, get out now” and then there’s a scene with the Martians attacking the French cabinet and the Eiffel Tower
I’m reminded of that scene when people think they can honestly negotiate with these guys
My youngest (15M) went to see it and said that there’s was clapping for every meme line, clapping at the end of the film. Terrible film, great experience, just like OOP.
