The democrats don’t care, as long as they don’t offend their base. And then doing any sort of legit challenge/change/effort, would offend that base.
The average democratic voter is incredibly complacent and happy with the status quo in this country.
Where I live the people in the towns with 5 million dollar home think those of us in the 1 million dollar homes are a criminal element that will invade their town.
It’s a national problem, but policies that affect housing are mostly local. So you need to override local control with state/federal policy, or convince a 50,000 municipalities to change their laws.
And the few states that have passed reforms for zoning, etc. are getting sued to shit in court by the city/towns.
This problem was 50 years in the making, it would take more than 50 years to fix.
That’s usually the radical leftists who prioritize ideology and loyalty to the cause.
What gets me is a lot of people in the education world are starting adopting this bullshit attitude. My city removed advanced level math courses from middle/high school because it was ‘unfair’ to students who lacked the talent/drive to be good at maths… basically handicapping everyone because a subset of the students were bad at math. Basically nobody is allowed to be better than someone at something and pursue their talents… because that is ‘mean and hurtful’. WTF
Thanks for having a good attitude. Way too many folks these days… are whiny and entitled and think nothing should be enjoyed by anyone if they can’t enjoy it. I’m athletic and I enjoy difficult/complex video games… and it’s always bizarre to me how some folks get some angry at me for enjoying things they don’t/can’t. I can’t play grandmaster level chess or a musical instrument, but I’m not angry about it.
I’m 75% through and have had very few issues with the game man. But yeah, bosses take time to learn and figure out. Takes me about a dozen tries per boss then I’m smoking them.
Learn the patterns, equip the right buffs, and it’s really not that hard.
amen. i had a relationship i ended 6 years ago because of lying. she stalked me for months afterward while she was already engaged to another guy… it was incredibly f’ed up and i feel awful for that poor dude. i ended up having to delete all my socials before she finally gave up.
I am super glad I didn’t marry her. despite her wanting to marry me. I knew something was ‘off’.
initial attraction/chemistry is all that matters to 99% of people. training or not, that’s just life. It’s why drugs are fun, gambling is awesome, and fatty sugar foods taste so good.

as someone who went to a small lib arts school, and then to a R1 university for my grad degree… this is exactly the truth.
I was actively told multiple times how students didn’t matter, to stop caring, to stop prepping for teaching classes, and to just focus on applying for grants and polishing my research.
should we wear helmets while walking around or jogging? riding a bike at 5mph doesn’t need a helmet. or in the shower? most folks get head trauma from shower falls, far more than bicycle accidents.
helmet wearing is for when you’re going 15mph or faster. it’s for sport cycling.
