Never Oracle
PostgreSQL is fine (or any fsf licensed Database is acceptable)
Well it is true hardware implants and hardware replacements can’t be fixed by flashing but they are detectable and they can only deploy so many of those before everything is a major news story and if you feel that the odds are that high, making one’s own hardware is an option but generally not a good one.
Who cares if you can flash the firmware (which will remove any thing that they might be able to do)
That would be database design
What if Roko’s Basilisk will be created by a poor gifted child who only is able to do so due to a robust social welfare safety net and who’s timing of birth would require their mother to have access to birth control and reproductive health care.
We will need to be able to reduce the amount of incoming infrared that hits the earth to avoid that outcome
4.87 is the current most accurate model’s projection for 2100
That is billions are going to die and the only way to alter that model involves a massive escalation in our launch capability ( space elevator/ launch loop sort of deal )
They are asking for the documents because they need to destroy them before copies are made
Well dildo copters exist, so it would only take one or two people to make a swarm of taco copters in time.
I just hope that they don’t spray hot sauce, that would be a bit too spicy.
Well to be a good Christian, you would need to have Christ’s love in your heart.
And you can either choose to demonstrate Christ’s love to try to convert her (takes decades and lots of care; not viable for most)
Or you can choose to be in a relationship with someone who will never convert
Or you can choose to be in a relationship with somebody else who shares the beliefs that you do.
42 - a letter describing the party’s previous actions from 20 minutes ago as a horrific crime against the innocent and vulnerable.
Well, think of it as positive engagement to stop buying gasoline vehicles.
Well we either allow companies to earn a reputation (in which case those companies which helped the Nazis are permanently stained)
Or reputation decays over time (in which companies have to earn our trust every day)
Either way is valid and consistent.
There are two very different types of respect; respect for a person as a human being, and respect for a person as an authority. But because we use the same word for these two different things, people often talk as if they were the same thing. So for example, when someone in authority says “If you don’t respect me, I won’t respect you.” What they’re actually saying (and justifying) is “If you don’t respect me as an authority, I won’t respect you as a human being.”
So it depends what you mean by respect. Because beyond basic human decency (not caving their skull in with a baseball bat). Additional respect is entirely optional.
IBM is evil (literally making NAZI death camps possible)

If it wasn’t for IBM the Holocaust couldn’t have happened.
So morally move away from them as soon as you can justify.
The alternatives provide better support anyway
Don’t have any games that require those. So never ran into that problem. But I can imagine there are potential games/apps people would want that can’t run on Linux. Windows VMs might be a solution but I don’t know as I never had to deal with that.
I don’t think the parade members could count in that crowd total as they are not part of the crowd.
