0·13 days agoPolitical views have long been met with state sanctioned violence. The concern for me with the breakdown of the judicial system, we’re going to see an even wider disparity in equal application of the law, and larger backlogs.
I think in cases of long speeches, Grassley’s desk is allowed to be used as a urinal.
6·16 days agoThere isn’t some amount of transness you need to have to be worthy of the identifier. If you vibe with it, you’re welcome to it, and if you don’t feel like it accurately describes your journey, it’s perfectly fine to not use it.

Yes and no. There is a wider public opinion fight that can be won. Many of the state laws are getting slammed through GOP supermajorities though.
Sometimes, I feel like it would be easier to find the One Ring than it would be to find NSFW content on Lemmy.
